New studio!

We are establishing a Studio to provide a better display environment and allow clients to come to us if they so desire. This is a work in progress, so watch for new changes!

We've added a contemporary style album at a new price point. Also included is a nice hard bound wallet sized album, for easy purse carry.

Premium grade prints

We now offer premium grade prints, which are textured, sprayed, mounted, and framed, ready to hang.

Chamfer mount prints

Perfect for bookcase or table top easel display, these prints are mounted to a thick board with beveled edges of black, gold, or silver. Now available in several sizes.

New website look

Background textures, smaller thumbnails and images, and clean image frames. Now the images load faster, and they work better with lower resolution screens.

New Directions Tour

Furthering our business education, we attended a nice five hour photography conference, Bruce Hudson's New Directions Tour / Reality Check, which is oriented towards the business of photography. It's nice when they come to us, instead of having to cross half the nation to go to them. We won a few prizes, too! One rubber chicken and one singing frog are now part of the baby toy collection, plus a $50 gift certificate from the prop supply company. Add in a recent acquisition of several black stools and chairs, and we're gonna need a bigger truck...

Another auction!

Yet another auction to benefit Maercker District 60 Educational Foundation. Two sessions, with two 11x14" prints each, were auctioned off.

The print displayed here is an 11x14" print matted into a 16x20" frame.

Five foot wide prints!

At a recent PPA conference we came across a vendor who can produce for us gallery wrapped canvas wall portraits up to 60 x 40 inches! The images are printed directly onto the canvas, which is stretched over an internal frame almost two inches thick, and the edges of the print are wrapped around the frame to where it rests against the wall. Just the thing for a contemporary style two story living room or entry, for example.

PPA Conference

We packed the truck and headed off to Memphis for a conference with around 600 other photographers. Four days of almost non-stop information was thrown at us on topics related to the business of photography. During the prior week, we decided to make a little vacation of it, and took in some camping in the 90 degree heat, four-wheeling in the forests, and a short river boat history cruise on the Mississippi.

Auctions

We've been participating in several local charity auction fundraisers. The Naperville Christian Academy received a family sitting with three 11x14 prints, and the Maercker District 60 Educational Foundation received a family, children, and senior session, each with three 11x14 prints!
